All indications are it performs as advertised, significantly reduces scale in my home
i'd say its almost as effective as a softener, but the no salt, no mainatnce make this product reccuperate in value pretty quickly.
Took a few months to see the full benefit, but hard water stains are fading and loving the eco-friendly approach.
